My father and his friends are trying to start a buisness building wind

turbines, and we have been trying to figure out a good material to make

would be very helpful, the reason they're doing this is because they are
being laid off as millwrights.

a lot of thought in the middle. My suggestion to everyone who asks this is

that they go look at what is actually out there now. Then go back & see
what you have & find a reason to use yours instead of theirs. This goes
for aluminum,plastic , steel, carbon from tires or milk jugs. If a guy
could find a niche as a supplier of these component parts for another
concern maybe that would be the best avenue to take. Making an effective
wind generator is pretty tough. If you could just hang a prop on a pole
everyone would have one out already. Its nearly that way now. In the
future instead of 3 bladed monsters on the skyline look for horizontal
mills that look like old push lawnmowers. they are much easier to work on
& are just as efficient. The tilt up model will be vertical but will work
in ur backyard.A good millwright is hard to find ..good luck to to &
